Welcome to the World of Ate Stax™️ by conz8000™️

conz8000 (born ****** *** ******) is an '80's baby and multimedia artist from Mobile, AL known for his lucid visuals that combine comic and manga style with realism. As a child prodigy in the arts, he gained mastery over a variety of mediums that helped him develop his style and animation-inspired aesthetic. His style and approach to art is something he likens to Bruce Lee's approach to martial arts: always being fluid. Unbothered by societal restraints and rejecting traditional artistic ideals, conz8000 continues to innovate and bring people together through art.

After high school, conz8000 quit art all together to pursue a music career, but always kept a sketchbook with him at all times. This led to a new path that took him across the country from Las Vegas, to New York, Atlanta, and back to Mobile– where his artwork began to gain traction in earnest, when he started to focus on art and animation.

In 2014, gaming fans around the world voted his artwork #1 in a Ubisoft/E3 art competition. He was also the winner for "Best Action Scene" in Playstation's first in- game photography feature for Naughty Dog’s award winning game The Last of Us. The City of Mobile has officially recognized his collaborative mural artwork (Mural of Legends, Downtown Mobile) and produced the first mural for the One Mobile project.

conz8000 has participated in and curated in multiple shows and exhibitions in the Mobile Arts’ Council, Alabama Contemporary Art Center, Mobile Museum of Art and a number of other galleries and venues.

As of 2016, he has participated in the Mobile Art Council's Mentorship Program and has been an Art Instructor for Legacy 166's A.C.E Program. Conz8000 continues to live in Mobile Al, and showcases his multimedia creations in his art collective’s annual Art of Perception art show.

Some of his influences include works from Disney, Image Comics, Frank Frazetta, Studio 4°C, Ralph Bakshi, his sister Shannon and Japanese anime of the late 70s, 80s and 90s. His goal is to start Ate Stax, a multimedia production company inspired by Disney and Marvel. He opened his home as a studio rightfully called House of 8stax as the production hub, where he also taught youth music and sound creation, animation, film and other forms of art. House of 8stax has evolved and changed locations several times but the energy remains no matter the locale.
